Hiroki Kuroda’s Manager Benches him in the Middle of his Brilliant Two-Hitter

Clueless Joe strikes again.   Oakland defeats the Yanks 5-2.

Joe Girardi handed a free victory to yet another opponent with his illogical managerial moves, and it is clearly time for him to be fired.

We now live in an upside-down bizarre world where managers bench a guy in the middle of a two-hitter.

Hiroki Kuroda was pitching great, and he was well on his way to a strong complete game, which the Yankees desperately needed.  6+ innings.  Only 2 hits.  One run.  Only one walk.  He had his team in the lead.

Who on earth benches a pitcher who is performing so well?  Enter Clueless Joey G.

In related news from the same game, Girardi let .226 Soriano play instead of .300+ hitter Ichiro, and he let  .234 hitter Brian McCann pinch-hit for .333 hitter John Murphy.  Is there any manager in history who utilizes a pinch hitter with a batting average 100 points lower than the guy he’s hitting for?

Joe Joe has got to go.
